Nicole Lopez is Assistant Controller at Roadrunner Venture Studios.

Nicole is a financial strategist and CPA with more than 20 years of experience, guiding organizations through complexity, growth, and change. Her career spans aerospace, consumer goods, hospitality, healthcare, real estate, and defense technology — always with a consistent focus on building financial and operational foundations that support scale, compliance, and long-term stability.

Most recently, Nicole served as a consulting supervisor with Glenn Burdette, working with clients across diverse markets as an outsourced controller while assisting on audit and tax engagements. Prior to Glenn Burdette, she supported receivership, due diligence, and litigation projects in Advisory, and partnered with consumer brands and e-commerce companies to deliver IPO-ready financials. As controller for 10 Tanker Air Carrier, an international aerial firefighting company, she spearheaded finance transformations that aligned globally distributed teams and established compliance frameworks supporting audit, M&A, treasury, HR, and international contracts.

Nicole delivers clarity, control, and forward-looking strategy across the finance function. She thrives at the intersection of finance, operations, and strategy — creating both immediate impact and lasting value.

Originally from Albuquerque, Nicole earned her B.A. in Economics and Master of Accountancy from the University of New Mexico (UNM). Outside of work, she enjoys time with her feisty Yorkie, traveling for dance, and sharing moments with family.
