Chase Kimball
Program Manager, Quantum
Chase Kimball serves as Program Manager for Quantum at Roadrunner Venture Studios, where he aligns diverse stakeholders toward coordination action in New Mexico and across the broader quantum ecosystem.
Chase has worked in civic technology for 15 years, most recently as Chief Technology Officer of a refugee resettlement non-profit, and before that in senior product management and operations leadership roles at a national defense-focused tech startup. He has also: helped the DoD fly satellites at greater scale; helped HHS reunite migrant children with their families efficiently; helped the Libyan Election Commission launch voter registration; and helped the White House manage constituent relationships more seamlessly. In 2016, Chase and his team were awarded a Meritorious Unit Citation by the Central Intelligence Agency for their work streamlining the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program.
Originally from Chicago, with a degree in economics from Carleton College (Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude), Chase lived in Washington DC for many years before moving to Albuquerque in 2025.
Chase loves life in Albuquerque, where he enjoys learning to fly hot air balloons and watching his kids bike to their grandparents’ house, all by themselves.
