Adam Hammer is the Co-Founder and CEO of Roadrunner Venture Studios.
Adam Hammer is the Co-Founder and CEO of Roadrunner Venture Studios and a General Partner at Roadrunner Fund, where he builds and invests in early-stage frontier technology companies across advanced manufacturing, energy, and next-generation compute.
Adam has built, operated, and invested in breakthrough technologies across the full company lifecycle. Previously, he served as Managing Director and Head of Strategy at Schmidt Futures, a family office initiative founded by Eric Schmidt, former CEO of Google, where he led portfolio development and strategic initiatives at the intersection of emerging technology and geopolitics, including directing the International Strategy Forum.
He was Chief Operating Officer at Qrypt, a post-quantum encryption and quantum hardware company, where he led product and commercial strategy. Earlier in his career, Adam worked at Goldman Sachs, advising energy and industrial companies on acquisitions and asset-linked transactions.
Adam has advised organizations including Google and Special Operations Command, and serves as an Industry Commissioner on the Defense Innovation Adoption Commission at the Atlantic Council, focused on accelerating the adoption of frontier technologies in national security.
Adam holds degrees from Wake Forest University and Yale University, and serves as an Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Navy Reserves.
