Executive-in-Residence, Corporate Ventures

Marc Bielas is an Executive-in-Residence at Roadrunner Venture Studios focused Corporate Ventures.

In addition to his role at Roadrunner, Marc serves as a partner at Wolfpack Ventures, a multi-strategy family office, where he primarily focuses on ConTech and InfraTech. He also serves as a subject matter expert in the built environment for a number of VCs and Family Offices.

From 2019-2023, Marc was the founder and CEO of Quilt, which leveraged prefabricated construction and integrated technology to design and develop higher quality, more sustainable housing at lower costs. At Quilt Marc oversaw a pipeline of $300M worth of multifamily developments. Due to the innovative nature of his work in construction, Marc was recognized as Entrepreneur in Residence for Turner Construction, the largest general contractor in the US and supported the contractor in M&A and product development.

Prior to founding Quilt, Marc was Director of Business Development at Leverege, an Internet of Things platform company. At Leverege, he consulted on Smart City strategy and set up technology pilots for a $5 Billion, 235-acre master-planned urban development in Baltimore, led the largest Low Power, Wide Area Network (LPWAN) deployment in US history and launched IoT products for leading building materials companies.

Marc received his B.A. in Computing and the Arts, with a focus on Architecture, from Yale University where he was an Energy Studies Scholar.

Marc serves as a board member and volunteer for several non-profits and industry groups including the Helena Group Foundation, the National Institute of Building Sciences and the Urban Land Institute.
